No. 10106-C3 I VICTO'PAC ASBESTOPRENE AND ASBESTOPAC MATERIALS The VICTOPAC family of "Compressed Asbestos Sheet Packings" are made from chrysotile asbestos fibers and elastomeric binders. These high density materials are made by a calender-sheeter process. The ASBESTOPRENE and ASBESTOPAC materials are com posed of chrysotile asbestos fibers and selected Victoprene rubber latexes. The asbestos fibers are deposition coated with the specified latex in a papermill beater. The coated fibers are then formed into a continuous sheet on a paper making machine. The latex locks the fibers into a uniform and resilient sheet.
