VINYL UNIT Rate at 74l M lbs. per day at 9&-9% customer grade. Made 123 batches of 5465, 5425, and 5385. Open warehouse space is now approximately 17.5 MM pounds. Reactor Stream Factor: 91% Dryer Stream Factor: 86% The major items affecting productivity for the week were low reactor and dryer stream factors. Items affecting the reactor stream factor were reactor downtime to: 1. Clean the D-400 condenser on 7/22 and 7/23 and to replace the D-500 agitator seal on 7/24 (52 hours total). 2. Repair the main evacuation valve in the old module (22 hours total on 7/20). Reactor productivity was also impaired due to an initiator reduction required to maintain isothermal operation in both modules. Items limiting dryer stream factor were: 1. Repair of No. 2 sifter motor on 7/23. 2. Centrifuge plugging problems with No. 7 dryer on 7/22. 3. Activator problems with dryers 1 and 2 on 7/24 and 7/25. DTH 000050919 R. E.
