Rotate drawing so tank longitudinal centerline is horizontal across the page like other coverplates figures. New Figure 8.6 - Same stuff with thermowell and sample line. Must show as OPTIONAL. Longitudinal centerline is OK as shown. New Figure 8.7 - Correct the coverplate thickness to 1 3/4" on the OD edge of the coverpiate (2 3/4 is in error) and to 2 3/4* on full plate thickness (3 1/4 is in error). Add a section of a 22" nozzle and nozzle flange to this drawing for reference. New Figure 8.8 -1 cannot comment on the Protective Housing dimensions. I have no knowledge of them. I cannot read the Midland drawing detailed dimensions because of the fax quality. No comments on them at this time. The dimensions in Section A-A of Drawing 9057-CS are for an 18-inch, not a 20-inch cover. See Figure E8.4. Would like direction from the AAR on the need for metric equivalents to these figures and assignment of figure numbers. Help is welcome from all.
