And, no surprise, we do pay particular interest to the Green Deal's ambition to maintain and strengthen the competitiveness of the chemical industry and secure high-quality industry employment. On 8 February 2022 (12.00-14.00) will take place a digital conference, jointly organised by the Chemical Industry Association of Hessen, the regional IG BCE trade union and the Hessen Regional Representation to the EU. The event will discuss the topic: "Wieviel Chemie braucht der Green Deal?" More specifically, the discussion should look at the policies needed to support the transition of this key industry, also with regard to the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability (CSS).
