July 12, 1930 Mr. A. E. Mlttnacht, Ethyl Gasoline Gorp., 135 E. 42nd Street, Hew York City. Dear Mr. Mlttnacht: Your letter of June 30 to Dr. Kehoe regarding the mixing Installation at Johnson Oil Company at Cleveland, Oklahoma, has been turned over to me by Dr. Kehoe. I have talked this over with Dr* Kehoe and we have no objection to the ar rangement as suggested, provided they will have ' their new installation in operation by October 15. The only fly in the ointment, as Dr. Kehoe express es it, was the fact that any Ethyl Gasoline repre sentative would in the first place allow such an installation to be put in. However, I am like you I hope that in the near future they will all be 100$. Kindest regards. . Very truly yours, HDStEJ 0000635 i IN TER-O FFICE C O RRESPO N D EN C E f Et hyl Gasol ine Corporat ion Chr ysl er Buil ding 135 East 42nd St r eet New YORK *June 30, 1930. Dr. R. A. Kehoe, Dear Dr. Kehoe: Referring further to your letter of June 11th with regard to the Johnson Oil's mixing installation at Cleveland, Oklahoma, attached hereto is copy of a letter from Mr. I. H. Johnson, President of the company which I believe is self explanatory. It is my understanding that the use of gas masks has all been straightened out and that your main ob jection is that there is a pipe runway running down to two^ concrete pillars on which the drums rest and any drip would go directly into the ground. ` ; Of course, we are anxious to get all of our distributors to switch over to tank car installations, and while we don't want to make any suggestion as to what should be done in this instance, if you can see your way clear to grant Mr. Johnson's request we might do so on the understand ing that he would absolutely agree to have a proper instal lation constructed not later than, say, October 15th. What do you think of this? tfE 0000636 C:C U i \. t -^A %. AaJ P**c) CL. M ' v X i / j . - t vJ , Wr aJ ^ fat VvvJ,-- $/ Uy jCIaa-w* < < 3^ 3 J it/ ~~ irK
