SUBJECT: I960 ANNUAL MEETING At the meeting of the Beard of Directors, held in StLouis on April 15; 1959; I reported that the American Zinc Institute Board of Directors had approved holding the joint annual meeting of the two associations in the week of May 2, i960 at the Chase-Park Plaza Hotels.. St. Louis As a result the L.I.A, Board concurred in the action of the A.Z.I. Board. Subsequently it was learned that the Hotel.- which had originally offered those dates had released then and v,e would not be able to get the Hotel curing that week- The Hotel offered alternate dates of April 6-8, i960. The executive vice president cf the .A.Z.I.,. and nyself. have checked against possible conflicts and it appears that these dates will be satisfactory; not conflicting with the annual meetings of member companies, nor any holidays. (Easter in i960 is on April l?th ) I am therefore, asking cur Board of Directors to approve the dates of Wednesday to Friday.. April 6 .8, i960 instead of the week of May 2nd, and the A.Z.I is similarly polling its 8oard of Directors Will you please execute the ballet below and return it in the enclosed stamped addressed envelope?
