Do not click on links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Good afternoon, Attached is a request from Jeff Farrah, CEO of the Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association (AVIA), for a meeting with Secretary Duffy at USDOT on May 20, 2025. The meeting would include CEOs and other OST-2025-1200 Page 03241 Sierra Club v. Dept. of Transp. - 3:25-cv-06221 SC_EVERSPLIT0028949 senior executives from leading autonomous vehicle companies that are members of AVIA. We plan to discuss the need for USDOT to advance a federal Autonomous Vehicle framework and provide AVIA's recommendations for policies that would constitute such a framework. We also hope to share information and answer questions about the state of the AV industry in the United States, such as the number of autonomous miles driven and the location of testing and deployment. Thank you for your consideration and please reach out with any questions. Ariel Ariel S.
