were added to the kettle. Additional water was added until the charge reached the agitator and thermowell.
The total amount of water was 8080 lb. 2. The sulfuric acid was added over 10-15 minutes. The
charge fumed as the acid was added but this was controlled by slowing the rate of addition. 3. The charge was filtered on polypropylene felt without difficulty.
