Byrd, Mr. McCowan, and Mr. Beiersdorfer unless otherwise noted. Process Description: Sims-Lohman manufactures single and double cultured marble vanities for bathrooms. Marble dust and Polylite (styrene-containing resin) is mixed in the autocaster. The marble slurry is poured into molds. The cast sinks are allowed to cure before the molds are removed. The cured sink.s are coated in t.e spray booth to give better surface finish and add color depending on the type of varity being produced. Matching backsplashes are also produced. Sims-Lohman can produce up to 100 sinks per day. Sirr1s-Lohrnan assumes that all of the sytrene in the resin is ernitted. Styrene en1issions are tracked using a spreadsheet of sytrene content in the resin and how n1ucb styrene is used. SimsLol-uuar1 has chai7ged resins since the issuance of its air perrrijt. Sims.-Lollma.n is going to replace tbe autocaster iI1 the next couple of months to 2 year. A consultant was hired to he1p \Vith necessary permitting.
