Due to increasingly more stringent asbestos regulations, recommendations are that asbestos abatement workers attend an EPA approved training course. Having the workers attend a federally accredited course (EPA, OSHA, Texas Air Quality Board recognized) has a number of advantages: 1. The course would be taught by certified professionals trained in the field of asbestos abatement. 2. Reduced company liability due to third party training. 3. The class participants will receive certification pending examination results. 4. Further knowledge of glove bag uses, limitations and techniques would be gained. Currently, there are not any in-house candidates with the expertise and formal training to conduct the annually required training. A quote of $1,600.00 to conduct training is attached.
