Wade Dyne, Philip Carey & Co. salesman, called on us relative to 7D asbestos used in Bestwall Light Acoustical Plaster. They nave recently put into operation a new processing and grading mill. As a result some grades of asbestos are now lighter in color and possibly a little higher in water carrying. He did not have samples but offered to obtain same so we could make a comparison of the new 7-D with that we now have. Mr. Austin Brown, Philip Carey salesman, will bring a 100 lb. bag of the new asbestos to the Grand Rapids plant some time within the next three or four weeks. Compare with your present stock of 7-D for water carrying, color and screen test. Send us a sample of sane; three or four pounds will be sufficient. Also make a plant batch of acoustical plaster using the new asbestos. Compare this with recent production of acoustical plaster for color, water carrying capacity and working properties. Send us a UO lb. bag of the special batch and one of regular production. Properly identify' each bag and note date of manufacture.
