Hope to be done soon. Jim --------- Forwarded message --------From: <Philip .Baker-Shenk@hklaw.com> Date: Mon, Nov 6, 2017 at 2:24 PM Subject: Mille Lacs crisis To: james cason@ios.doi.gov Hi, Jim. I am writing to inquire when the Interior letter will be signed and sent that Mille Lacs Chief Executive Melanie Benjamin discussed with you and others at Interior on September 11th. Sorry to nag. This is an extremely time sensitive and painful crisis for Mille Lacs. There were eight more overdoses in the past week on the Mille Lacs Reservation, two of which ended in death. There were other instances in which reliable information was provided to the County Sheriff's Office regarding suspected drug dealers traveling to the Reservation with drugs to sell, but no action was taken by the County Sheriff's Office. Thanks.
