Governor Scott Appoints Gerard Joseph "Joe" Curley Jr. and James "Jim" Nutt to the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointments of Gerard Joseph Curley Jr. and James Nutt to the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court.
Curley, 57, of West Palm Beach, is a Shareholder at the Gunster law firm. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from Stetson University College of Law. Curley fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge James T. Ferrara.
Nutt, 55, of Palm Beach Gardens, currently serves as Litigation Practice Group Leader for the South Florida Water Management District's Office of General Counsel. He received his bachelor's degree from Oglethorpe University, and his master's and law degrees from Nova Southeastern University. Nutt fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Richard L. Oftedal.
