Dear Mr. Allen: The ammonium periluoro-octanoate (FC-143) and Triton(TH) X-100 results from the Local Landfill Verification Investigation (VI) sample locations are summarized in the attached table. Copies of the laboratory reports are also attached. All samples were collected and analyzed using the VI protocols. FC-143 water analyses were performed by CH2H Hill in Montgomery, AL. Triton(TH) water and FC-143 soil analyses were performed at Washington Works. A Triton(TM) sample has not yet been obtained from Local Landfill sample location LLL-2 because the stream bed has been dry. This location will be sampled for Triton(TM) at the next opportunity. However, a non-detectable result is expected since Triton(TH) biodegrades and all other Triton(TM) sample results were non-detectable.
