Manville's cartons of Thermobestos products
I would like to call to
your attention that Manville does not place a warning statement
however on their bags of asbestos
Since the bag itself states its
contents as being asbestos fibers in big print they feel they need no
warning Only when the asbestos is hidden in the product such as it is
in Thermobestos is a warning on the carton used This raises a question in my mind whether a warning statement would have to be placed on our
Kaylo carton if we were to have printed on the carton Asbestos
Reinforced
Of course this is a legal matter which our Legal
Department must resolve
I just wanted to call to your attention the
fact Manville uses the warning statement only when asbestos is
hidden in the product
