Kaiser Center, Oakland, Calif. 94604 OAKLAND, Calif. -- Kaiser Gypsum Company has launched an expansion of its Delanco, N. J. manufacturing plant to provide East Coast production of additional basic materials used in the company's extensive line of gypsum partition systems. The Delanco plant presently produces gypsum wallboard, lath and plaster. Completion of the new manufacturing capability in January 1968 will expand the plant into a diversified production center for gypsum partition materials and accessories, an announcement said. New facilities now under construction at Delanco will produce steel and aluminum components used in constructing gypsum partition systems for apartments and all types of commercial and industrial buildings. In addition, equipment is being installed to produce such accessory materials as wallboard joint treatment compounds and texture materials for finishing and decorating walls and ceilings, the announcement said. The expanded Delanco facility, together with the company's Jacksonville, Fla. gypsum products plant, will enable Kaiser Gypsum to serve customers along the entire Atlantic Seaboard with the principal materials for modem partition systems construction, a spokesman said. The new production facilities at Delanco will complement similar California facilities operated by Kaiser Gypsum to serve its West Coast markets. The company produces metal components at Pico Rivera, California and operates a wallboard accessories plant at Antioch in Northern California. ### December 13, 1967 KG-0126
