I have written this such that we refer to "approved" respiratory protection as this will be decided following additional investigation. Several different respiratory protection alternatives exist depending on potential exposure situations. In addition to normal removal activities, the new standard covers brake and clutch repair in industrial garages. I have attached a proposed guideline for this as well. Please review these proposals and provide me with your comments by November 7. A major portion of this standard Is now in effect.
