improve quality control via raw materials specifications and paint production techniques (using a PQM technique similar to that being
developed by our Ti02 plants) to improve costs / and,
to document Q.C. data as needed for a new venture.
For information, attached is a summary of our agreement with F&FP on the subject. '
The instrumental color limits represent our current shipping limits as reviewed by Technical Serivce and Production..
F&FP personnel (shown on the distribution sheet) are reviewing these. Requested changes, if any, will be handled individually via the SCS procedure (viz. require approval by the Business Center).
F&FP agreed that, for minimum cost, they will adopt our test methods. These test methods have been provided.
Once the specifications are approved, a SCS will be submitted requesting transferral of plant release test data (on shipment) to the F&FP "ship-to" location and to the F&FP R&D quality coordinator.
