The Internal Revenue Service is currently auditing, through statistical sampling, the plant, property and equipment closings for 1978 that qualified for investment tax credit.
We will require support for the items listed belcw. This support should include the jab order financial status statement utilised for the Closing with adequate descriptions for the various cost codes, including the indirect costs. If available, idle summary sheet, if any, for the closing should be included as well as any other information that will assist us in verifying the description of tiie items closed and the dollar amounts.
In the case of smaller job orders, a copy of the invoices should be supplied.
This information should be sent to us as soon as possible, but no later than November 18, 1982.
The items questioned are on the attached page.
