McKusick, J. G> Aftosmis, N, D. Krivanek, and C. L. Dickinson, Jr, (Haskell) met to review the literature survey from the January 31, 1975 meeting and complete the review of F&F's raw materials. The following i$ recommended from the literature survey: A bacterial mutagen test be run on acrylamide Further literature be Sought on peroxy compounds with emphasis on follow-up of the incompletely reported work of Koten and Falk. The following materials had adequate tests so that no further work is indicated at this time: Maleic Anhydride Bakelite Epoxy Resin 4221 Melamine Formaldehyde Resin EPON 828 Bis Phenol A (keyed to EPON 828) Lead The following had no data, but consideration of use and related compounds suggests no action at this time: Desmodur N-75 Proxel CRN Triclene is under consideration elsewhere as new data has been presented and judgment at this meeting was not appropriate. BETTER THINGS FOR BETTER LIVING . . .THROUGH CHEMISTRY MEMORANDUM TO PILE -2 - July 8, 1975 From other searches that were sent as a consequence of the January 31 meeting, Swain would like a Haskell position on chromic acid and dioxane. The following is recommended from the raw materials review: A Toxiine search on diaminodiphenylsulfone be run. Literature searches already run on the following compounds or related compounds be sent to E. E. Swain: Selenium Thiuran and analogs Cadmium Carbon disulfide Tetramethyl thiourea CLD/jtd DUP050077594
