Many of our inquiries come as the result of underwriter's requirements. Singer Screens are sturdily constructed of heavy tubular steel with a durable rust-proof black oxide finish. Withstand rough usage--will give years and years of service. There are no time consuming threads--the slip-joint construction makes assembly a quick job.
Easily moved from job to job. Amazingly light in weight ... for example the 4 ft. triple screen weighs only 32 lbs.
Choice of 5 curtain materials:
1. 12 oz. olive drab fire-resistant DUCK. Permanent fire-resistant, water and mildew resistant finish. 2. "NEO-WELD"--yellow neoprene coated FIBER GLASS 3. JOHNS-MANVILLE ALUMINIZED ASBESTOS--pure aluminum foil permanently laminated to Underwriters Grade asbestos cloth. This curtain is the last word in protection against RADIANT HEAT and flame because it protects by REFLECTION. Will withstand temperatures up to 1400F. 4. FLUORESCENT STRIPED vinyl-coated fiberglass. The outside of the material flashes a reflecting warning . . . the inside is black for welding. Flame-proof, fire-resistant, spark proof. Can't mildew. 5. UNDERWRITERS GRADE ASBESTOS.

THE SINGER GLIDEWALL is a totally new idea in partitioning -- offering a simple method of dividing or closing off areas ... quickly and economically. Installations can be permanent but are easily moved--or can be free standing for portable mobility.
* VERSATILE AND FUNCTIONAL -- enclose any size space -- any length of width--any height.
* FOR WALL-TO-WALL INSTALLATIONS use track connector with o wall plate.
* FOR CEILING INSTALLATIONS use track connector with holes for screws or bolts.
* ONE TRACK CONNECTOR and support required every 10 feet to insure rigidity.

Although harmful ultra violet rays are a safety problem in all types of arc welding, it is even a greater threat in the inert gas arc welding method. To meet this ex posure problem Singer introduces this new line of safety clothing and gloves aptly called the Black Beauty Line. The protective color is a beautiful dull black, which
safety experts agree is the best protection against ultra violet rays. The leather employed is a specially tanned split cowhide, extremely soft and pliable and about onehalf the usual weight. This lack of bulk brings maximum comfort to the worker.
