Consequently Haskell Laboratory has not conducted any laboratory studies on the potential health effects of ingestion of asbestos fibers. However, Haskell Laboratory has conducted some studies on the effects of inhaling certain inorganic fibers that Du Pont once made. A pre-print of a paper describing some of these studies is enclosed because it contains some refer ences relative to the effects of ingested asbestos fibers. You might find these references useful.
