You will note that the only samples
shoving dust counts in excess of 10 to 15
were obtained on April 25, 1953 > when the wind was out of the north and northwest.
Vith the exception of sulfur dioxide no appreciable concentrations of any chemicals were found in the atmosphere at any the sample points within the Refinery^dn this same date, vith the wind coming from a northerly direction.
On the basis of these data I would
draw the conclusion that the Refinery con tributes very little to atmospheric tontamina' tlon in the way of solid particles and essentially no chemical contamination with the exception of sulfur dioxide. It. mist be , rementoered, of course, that these are spot data do not represent average conditions.
