Led by Canada and the Netherlands, the Task Force addresses th( needs o f the review s and rea ssessm en ts required by the 1998 A a rh u s P ro to co l on POPs and tl procedures adopted in Executive Body decision 19 98/2. In setting up the Task Force, the Exe Body agreed decision 2 0 03/10. which identifies the functions of the Task Force, and som e of i m ethods of w ork. The activities of the Task Force for 2004 were agreed in the Executive Body plan (F C F /F B .A IR /79/A d d,2. paragraph 1 .5 ). The T a sk Force C o -C h a irs w ill report the resu lts m eetings of the Task Force to the Convention's W orking Group on Strategies and Review, whi provides the Parties to the Protocol with the inform ation necessary for their review s and re assessm en ts.
