M. Edsall - Staff Engineer COMMENTS Was alerted that the four wheel disc brake on the Cadillac Brougham for 1980 has been cancelled. This brake will revert back to front wheel discs and 11" x 2" drum brakes on the rear. Some 30 to 40,000 vehicles are involved. This decision was made to keep the car in the proper weight class for emissions and average mileage numbers generated by the corporation. The above decision should alert everyone that an additional 120160,000 primaries of 734-161 formula and secondaries of 38-27E formula will be required over the 1980 model year to cover necessary production.
