Dear Van:
'
Please refer to your letter of February 11, 1974, regarding increased prices for VCM under our present contract and also to a x reply dated February 14, 1974. We understand that you are preparing appropriate contract modifications to cover the revised pricing.
As we mentioned in cur February 14 reply, we herewith offer conditions under which we accept the pricing you proposed (VCM, f .o.b. Lake Charles plant -- 6.657 cents per pound; VCM, f.o.b. Lake Charles [from Guayanilla plant] -- 11.316 cents per pound):
1. That no VCM will be offered by PPG to any customer at a lower price than offered to BFG unless the lower pricing is offered simultaneously to BFG.
2. Should ary government agency effect a reduction and rollback in price, then PPG would return such overcharge to BEG.
3. During the term of this agreement, PPG will not accept ary new VCM customers or offer increased amounts of VCM to current customers without offering such quantity of VCM to BEG.
4. If PPG has available VCM in excess of current commitments, such quantity will first be offered to BFG as per letter agreement of November 2, 1973.
5. BFG waives no rights under VCM contract dated October_ 24, 1973, except on pricing for the first and second quarters of 1974.
Please contact us if you have any questions concerning the above five points.
