Louisiana 70765-0150 MiltS j'f'f Us r We are experiencing some safety valve problems at the load racks after the tank cars leave our wash rack; i.e., wrong "o" ring type, wrong pressure setting, improper stenciling, no metal tags showing "o" ring type/pressure setting, etc. I have five different car numbers on my desk that the plant has reported with one or more of the above discrepancies. With the environmental concerns as they are today, we can not continue to do business in this manner or someone will be in trouble. This must be checked very closely at the wash rack and everyone involved must make sure all discrepancies are corrected before a tank car leaves this wash rack. Safety valves must have metal tags indicating the "o" ring type and pressure setting. If the safety valve does not have those metal tags, the safety valve must be replaced with one that does and the car re-stenciled. This is your responsibility. Let's be sure it happens.
