The PHA was completed on August 11, 1992, using the HAZOP method of analysis. Since the basis for this Safety and Health project is to provide safer operation of the VCM compressors during unloading, all critical hazards should already have been addressed in the design. Therefore, as expected, no critical hazards were identified in the PHA. Only one minor potential hazard was identified, and resolution of it has already been implemented. Rory H.
