During 1948 the following appointments and promotions took place: EXECUTIVE: W. T. Kelly, Jr. appointed Executive Vice-President SALES: M. B. Terry promoted to General Sales Manager from Manager Equipment Sales, and at the end of the year was appointed Vice-President, Sales. U. B. Grannis, Jr. was hired as Manager - Equipment Sales. He was formerly a Representative, Brake Shoe and Castings Division. G. A. Weller promoted to Assistant Manager - Replacement Sales from Representative. F. A. Colosimo promoted to Chief Service Engineer from Assistant to Vice-President, Research Department. R. G. Robison promoted to Head of Belt Sales from Special Repre sentative, Belts. RESEARCH AND TEST: B. W. Wortelboer was hired as Assistant Technical Director. He formerly was with Marshall-Eclipse Division of Bendix Products. J. H. Troester promoted to Assistant to Vice-President from Research Engineer. R. R. Swanberg promoted to Chief Road Test Engineer from Test Engineer. ENGINEERING: F. E.
