Attached please find the request of the National Lime Association ("NLA") that the President issue a two-year exemption from the current July 16, 2027, compliance date of emissions standards promulgated in the final rule National Emission Standardsfor Hazardous Air Pollutants: Lime Manufacturing Plants Technology Review (the "Lime Rule"), published in the Federal Register at 89 Fed. The attached document explains which emissions standards are subject to the request and contains a list of the affected sources. It also provides a justification to support the request, including an explanation why the technology to implement the standard is not available, and an explanation of why an extension is in the national security interests of the United States. It also contains letters from the affected sources authorizing NLA to file this request on their behalf Sierra Club FOIA 2025-EPA-04883 ED_018388_00005603-00001 SC_EVERSPLIT0005160 Thank you for your consideration of this request.
