Good Morning, We provided this letter to the FAA last week, but I wanted to make sure it was also directly provided to DOT. It is a budget letter from Rep. Van Drew on the FY26 President's budget for the FAA. It focuses on the William J. Hughes FAA Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace in our district. This facility is deeply involved in the validation of aviation safety technologies. With the Secretary's agenda on using technology to improve aviation safety, we think that he should be informed on how these FY26 investments are essential to accomplishing his mission. Additionally, there is an ceremony in April to commemorate the codification of the Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace through the FAA Reauthorization law. We have an invitation to the Secretary matriculating through Nick LaRotonda, the Secretary's Director of Advance. Potentially April 21st Thought it was worth including in this email.
