The subject of possible lead poisoning hazards to personnel engaged in the transportation of leaded gasoline on tank vessels seems to persist in spite of our efforts to show that no ill effects have been suffered by any one to date. In order to add weight to my reply to Admiral Park's letter will you kindly give me a statement to the effect that your company has been transporting leaded gasoline for a stated number of yearsj that in that time you have moved more than a stated num ber of barrels of leaded gasoline; and that throughout that opera tion you have never had a single disability resulting from contact with the gasoline or its residue in the tanks of the tank-vessels.
