Kehoe University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Cincinnati 19, Ohio < Dear Bobs Thank you very much for your letter of January 10 dealing with the questions which Allis-Chalmers brought up of allowing exhaust gases from engines operating on leaded fuel to pass through hay and grain which was being dried. The point which you bring up of the probability of this procedure imparting an objectionable taste to the hay or grain is a very ex cellent one. There is also a strong probability that the amount of moisture contained in the exhaust gases offsets the drying effect of the increased temperature. Mr. Guy plans on seeing Mr. Frudden of Allis-Chalmers next week and discussing this whole problem with him with the hope that they will see fit to eliminate this procedure.
