The technic employed was as follows: : (1) Four ply gauze and film treated with 11.5$ aroclor were cut into pieces 1.5 cm. square. .. (2) The gauze, moistened with 100$ aroclor, and the treated 'jfilm were applied to the skin of the upper am and covered with standard ELastopatches, (Duke Manufacturing Coiqpany). , .(3) The patches were removed in 24 hours and the site of application observed at that time and again in 48 and 72 hours. (4) After 10 or more days had elapsed, the patches were ^reapplied and steps (2) and (3) repeated. A group of 48 volunteers was tested. Their ages ranged from 20 to 33 years. The average age was 20.04 years. There were ; 36 women and 10 men. .No Negroes were tested. > No positive reactions were observed. Very truly yours Lawrence K.
