Dear Dr. Sunderman 1 In the absence of Dr. Kehoe from the Laboratory I am forwarding via parcel post tvo complete sets of containers for the collection of blood and urine samples for analysis for lead, one set to be used and returned at once, and one set to be retained for use in the future. I am enclosing a set of instructions for the collection of the samples. Inasmuch as contamination is such an Important factor in the collection of samples it vlll be necessary to follow the instructions in every detail, being certain that the urine sample is taken in the presence of aphysician or attendant. * In order to check our resultsve request thatduplicate samples of blood be taken. The needle should be leftin place, merely changing tubes so as to collect approximately 10 c.c. of blood in each tube. Only one charge of $5.00 is made for the analysis of both the blood samples.
