Employee exposures to vinyl chloride monomer, noise and dust will be evaluated by collecting both area and personal samples. In addition to the routine monitoring, the hazard communication, respiratory protection and hearing conservation programs will be reviewed. Please inform your employees of this visit, the purpose and importance of the monitoring, and the need for their full cooperation. Inform your employees that their respirators should be worn at proper locations at proper times and should be in good working order. Hearing protection should also be worned in the proper areas. They will be surveying at random times throughout the day and night, so bring this to your employees att ntion, so that they can be prepared and aware of his presence in th plant at any time.
