H, Sather November 12, 1985 CONTROL ROOM PRESSURIZATION VIS1A For the past few months, we have been working on a project to improve the performance of the control room pressurization system# Our efforts have been directed toward: Sealing the leaks Improving the air supply Balancing the distribution of air Providing monitoring instrumentation and alarms The above items have been completed. In order to maintain this important safety system, we need your help in the following areas: Keeping doors closed tight (one open door affects the entire system). Submit work orders to repair leaks and door closers when problems are found. Check the incline monometers periodically. They should Indicate 0.1 Inches of water or greater. Repair holes promptly when new conduit penetrations are made. There are alarms for the new module MCC and the main control room which are set to come on when pressure falls below 0.1 inches of water after a preset time delay.
