Finger's crossed. Sometimes all these things need is a crack OLA team to pry them loose. @ Let me know what you learn. Bob Holste Chief of Staff U.S. Rep. Kevin Kiley (CA-3) 2445 Rayburn H.O.B. Kiley Hey Bob - Let me take a look into these. If the grant is signed and obligated there should have never been a pause in any funding. The review process pertains to the grants that were awarded but do not have a signed grant agreement. (The prior administration left us behind a backlog of nearly 3200 of these) These are being reviewed to ensure compliance with the Administration's executive order but the Department is actively working to address the backlog. Let us look into the status of the projects you sent below and see if we can find some additional information for you all. Adding some others from my team for visibility. Thanks! Hannah, Hope all is well. I'm writing to inquire about an important $22.SM grant for the Sacramento region that was awarded through USDOT's 'NAE' program in 2024. It was awarded to Calhans (our state department of transportation) with the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) as the subrecipient along with nine cities and counties that are participating and expecting to receive suballocated awards. The grant agreement has been signed and the funds have been obligated, and SACOG has executed subrecipient agreements with the jurisdictions and work is already underway. This grant allows for work on infrashucture upgrades and transportation strategies that will improve safety and economic development throughout the region that Congressman Kiley represents. Since the grant is signed and obligated we are assuming that we are good to go, but we wanted to make sure given some of the grant reviews underway. We're hearing about this back home, so the boss asked me to drop you all a line and see if you could check and get a status on this grant(s). Appreciate the help!
