This is for use in a membership drive which we are now setting up. Meanwhile, a basic form letter was worked out for use the Foundation, its Board members. Committee members, etc., in approaching prospects. Pullman Company authorized a Foundation survey of their St. Louis plant. This action climaxes negotiations which have been in progress since last summer. Pittsburgh Plate expressed satisfaction with the work of Mr. Hatch, member of the Foundation's Engineering Committee, at their Barberton, Ohio, Works and stated that they wished to have him do further work for them a little later. Meanwhile, work progressed on the Proceedings which we are making every effort to rush into print. The SI TIMES carried ^ column on Dr. Gardner's report at our recent meeting. NEWSWEEK carried a short summary on Mr. lant's paper. The Detroit NEWS had something on the meeting and the DIPLOMATE had a story on the absenteeism study. L.
