The general volume of our work is such that samples that come in have to take their normal sequence, except in the event of a rather crucial medical situation relating to the care of a patient. usually there is little delay. The data on the report sheet are given largely for our own purposes , i.e. that of making the best interpretation of the results that can he given. They need not concern you at all. However, in the occasional instance involving a sample that is too small to yield a sufficiently precise result, one must reserve judgment as to the validity and significance of the analytical result.
