Would it not be possible to publish them in abstract form with foot-note to the jeffect that the full paper is on file at such and such a place. For such filing we are beginning to use that new Bureau at Washington which will keep them for authors and send small photos to interested inquirers at small cost. X Uuch the same sort of thing is done routinely at the USPatent Office. ; Our.publishing costs are about 7.50 per page and it takes about 2\ double spaced pages to equal one Journal page. Don't consider that we have turned you down. I don't mind papers that happen to hafe negative or non-spectacular results. Sometimes negative results are all important. Why not have a go at Fishbein? After all he is an experienced editor and he runs a flourishing business whatever anyone thinks of his politics. I liave a great respect for his judgement and common sense in a matter such as this.
