As you may or may not be aware, Dr. Robert Rlsebrough of our group has become very much interested in the.accumulation of chlorinated hydrocarbons in the ecosystem, and specifically recently in what appears to be the Arochlors (see attached reprint from Nature). Although these identifications seem authentic, we would like to have samples of the homogeneous compounds_rather than mixtures to yse as standards for gas chromatography. Our question is: does Monsanto have them and would they be filling to furnish samples to be used 1) as standards for analysis and 2) for research into their biological activities?
