Subject Industrial Hygiene Evaluation of Sodium Maintenance Shop Address BR Plant Date June 9, 1976 Ralph Parker has requested Industrial Hygiene evaluation of the Sodium Maintenance Shop (copy of note attached). H. M. Taylor performed a preliminary evaluation of this facility in 1973 (copy of report attached). I understand that certain of his recommendations concerning ventilation have been carried out. To the best of my knowledge, no repeat Industrial Hygiene evaluation has been done as follow-up subsequent to the changes. Presumably this area will be evaluated in due course (months?) as part of the Comprehensive Survey. I see no spe cial urgent health implications to this situation and, there fore, see no medical reason to assign the evaluation an urgent priority.
