Studies have Indicated PCBs may be accumulating in the environ ment. In some instances PCBs have been found In food or In the food chain. Because of Monsanto's concern over this problem, we have discontinued sales of PCBs in all applications except as dielectric fluids for use In transformers, capacitors, and other electrical equipment and components. In the past, Monsanto has sold these fluids direct to transformer repair shops and to any one requiring the fluid for top-up of an existing transformer. Monsanto has decided to discontinue direct sales to transformer repair shops and for transformer top-up. For your future require ments of dielectric fluids, we suggest you contact the manufacturer of the transformer for which you desire the fluid. We sincerely regret any hardships that this decision may cause you, but it has been taken in an effort to continue to make available these products for Important electrical applications.
