GENERAL Titanium and antimony based materials are increasing in cost and some periods of tight supply may occur in 1984. Lead and tin compound prices remain unchanged. Fuel oil prices are at a high level due to the cold winter. 2* OPPORTUNITIES A. An increase in our T.V.A. of 2C/gal. was negotiated with our main supplier of fuel oil. B. A credit in the amount of $14,350.10 was received from M&T as per the terms of our 1983 contract covering T-108 purchases. C. A claim against American Cyanamid regarding some off-grade Violet ZIRS material furnished to us was settled and we received a credit memo in the amount of $1,469.20. D. The return of 35,000 lb.s of Hydral 710B to the distributor was arranged. The return of 2,500 lbs. of V-9229 to Ferro and efforts to dispose of other surplus and/or obsolete materials is in progress. E. MRO and supplies - Price comparisons are continuing with respective savings and particular progress was made in locating a viable and economical source for electrical supplies. T.
