Morgan For Thlokol: Miss Betsy Peterson - Manager Light Construction Tony Santaniello - Manager Heavy Constuction W. F. Waychoff presented Monsanto's Aroclor policy and discussed the general methods of replacement. Data was presented on four candidates and it was agreed that these materials, blends of Aroclor 5460 with Santicizer 160 or Santicizer 261, looked very interesting. We agreed to supply specific gravity measurements and to retest the materials at equal volume substitutions. Miss Peterson was quite interested in triphenyl phosphite as a reactive modifier for polysulfides. The use was un defined. We discussed chlorinated paraffins in general and pointed out their basic problems including heat instab ility, need to be stabilized, poor premix stability, acid generating nature, and poor light stability.
