CST Maj would like to request a briefing (or more if necessary) to learn more about the specific needs in various parts of the DOT ATC improvement plan. E.g. We'd like an in-depth discussion of the telecommunications improvements and how they would be made, what permitting reform is needed, what permits are normally required, and the cost associated. We would next like a briefing about the radar replacement plan and how the fleet would be replaced, by whom, and the cost associated. Would also like more details regarding DataComm, EIDS, and the transition to two automation platforms. Could you please confirm receipt and come back with a few dates/times for the briefing(s)?
