CMA 1.0 The Committee reviewed and approved the draft protocol for a reproductive study and rationale for a wiaver for two species tertogencity study for submission to ATSDR. Dr. Has Shah will submit these two documents to ATSDR next week. 2.0 Dr. Shah will include a discussion of the Swenberg research proposal on the next Committee meeting agenda. Committee members will review the proposal prior to the next meeting. 3.0 Jonathan Ramlow reported that he is preparing a list of questions to send to Carlo Tamburo which would clarify Dr. Tamburo's proposal for a brain cancer case control study of vinyl chloride workers. The list of questions will be distributed to the Committee for review before they are sent to Dr. Tamburo. 4.0 Dr. Ramlow reviewed the status of the epidemiology update for vinyl chloride workers. The start date for the study has been postponed until April 1,1995 to accomodate the transfer of data from ENSR to Applied Epidemiology Inc. Ken Mundt of AEI is developing a protocol for the study. 5.0 Dr. Ramlow reported that no new information on the California EPA risk assessment of vinyl chloride is available at this time. Dr. Shah will distribute copies of the California Hot Spots document to Committee members. 6.0 The conference call adjourned at approximately 11.00 a.m. Subject to Approval Kim Reed Admin.
