Good morning-- I'm reaching out on behalf of Congressman Tony Gonzales (R-TX-23) to request a meeting with the appropriate division at DOT to discuss a regional proj ect in the member's district. Rep. Gonzales' constituents from Reeves County w ill be in DC on September 15-17 and are requesting an in-person meeting to brief the DOT on a few infrastructure projects they are seeking support for. The delegation would consist of the county judge, the mayor, and a few other elected representatives. For addit ional context, Reeves County is the largest gas-producing region in Texas and among the highest in the nation. The local government is working with our offi ce and TxDoT on road infrastructure projects that would greatly improve traffic flows, safety, and energy development in the area. Rep. Gonzales discussed these topics w ith Secretary Duffy during a THUD appropriations hearing several w eeks ago. Sec.
