FACILITY DESCRIPTION Productos Bredy USA, LLC ("Productos Bredy") is a company incorporated and doing business in the state of Texas that specializes in the wholesale distribution or sale of grocery products originating from Mexico. The company operates a warehouse facility located at 7601 North Loop E, Houston, Texas 77028-6017. According to sources available online, the company generates an approximate $2.1 million in annual revenue. Section II - OBSERVATIONS EPA Inspectors Kiera Hancock and I arrived at Productos Bredy on November 5, 2025, at approximately 9:20AM. We were given access to the outside gated portion of the facility and entered it at approximately 9:24AM. We were met by Mr. Jomal Acosta, Warehouse Manager of Productos Bredy and led inside to a conference room where I presented my inspector credential and a Notice of Inspection (EPA Form 3540-2) to Mr. Acosta. After explaining the scope of the inspection, Mr. Acosta offered to take us into a nearby portion of the facility dedicated to packaging culinary spices where disinfectant products were said to be present. We followed Mr. Acosta to that portion of the facility where we observed several cleaning and disinfectant products being stored for use on the premises. I reviewed the products and observed that all the disinfectants were labeled with EPA Registration Numbers, Establishment Numbers, and other required label elements. I asked Mr. Acosta if we could proceed to the warehouse portion of the facility where finished products were being held. Mr. Acosta led us to that portion of the facility where I observed the following products of interest: - Ajax Pino - Axiom Polvo Superficies - Clorox Blanqueador (Concentrado) - Clorox Ropa 4 en 1 - Fabuloso Ultra Frescura/Frescura Activa (various) All the above-mentioned products were observed to be making disinfection claims in Spanish and appeared to be unregistered with EPA. Inspector Hancock photographed all the products with the exception of "Ajax Pino" due to technical issues with the camera. While reviewing the products, we were briefly joined by Mrs. Mary Carmen S. Henderson, Accounting Manager for Productos Bredy, who inquired and was given information about the scope of the inspection. At the conclusion of the product review, Inspector Hancock and I proceeded back to the conference room with Mr. Acosta. Mr. Acosta then summoned Mrs. Henderson and Mr. Victor Angel, Purchasing Manager for Productos Bredy. I inquired about records related to the distribution or sale of the products of interest and whether the company could produce those records. I was told that the records were available but that it would take time to collect them. I stated that I would follow up with a records request at a later time, and the company representatives agreed to cooperate with that request. I then completed a Receipt for Samples (EPA Form 3540-3) for the photographs taken during the inspection and provided information about Confidential Business Information and EPA Small Business Resources. Copies of the Notice of Inspection and Receipt for Samples were then made and provided to the company. The inspection concluded at approximately 10:35AM. Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN The areas of concern identified during the inspection include the potential distribution or sale of unregistered antimicrobial pesticides by Productos Bredy including Ajax Pino, Axiom Polvo Superficies, Clorox Blanqueador (Concentrado), Clorox Ropa 4 en 1, and Fabuloso Ultra Frescura/Frescura Activa (various). Section IV - FOLLOW UP No additional information has been requested or received by EPA after exiting the Facility on November 5, 2025. A records request to Productos Bredy is pending.
